November - December 2012 camping trip

For the past three years a buddy of mine and I have taken a camping trip on the Angelina river close to Jasper Texas.

Last year two of my sons went on the trip, but I dont know if they are going this year.

As the trip gets closer, its time to start getting the gear ready, boat, alice pack, sleeping bag, tent, fishing poles, maybe a shotgun to do some squirrel hunting,,,.

Hopefully the weather will be nice.  I do not mind the cold weather, it the rain I am worried about.

Summer heat is starting to break

Couple of cold fronts have passed through, and the summer heat is finally starting to break. It wont be long and it will be camping, fishing and hunting time again. Every summer the Texas heat gets so bad that I can not hardly do anything outside without burning up.
